Adirondack Park Local Government Day Conference
March 25 and 26, 2008
Join your colleagues for the 11th Annual Adirondack Park Local
Government Day Conference! On Tuesday and Wednesday, March 25 and
26, 2008, local government officials from throughout the Park will
gather to meet, learn and be involved in discussions on a variety
of topics important for community planning and development.
This year the conference will again be held at the Crowne Plaza
Resort and Conference Center in Lake Placid. We are also offering
special sessions on Tuesday at the APA and the DEC Offices in Ray
Brook. There will be a morning session walking you through the APA
JIF & project review processes and an afternoon GIS Workshop
to be held at the APA building. An Energy Smart Workshop will be
held in the afternoon at the DEC Conference Room.
This conference is a great opportunity for you to network with
other officials who experience the same issues and challenges that
you do. Training sessions will be offered that may help satisfy
annual training requirements for Planning and Zoning Board Members

The conference is co-sponsored by the Adirondack Park Agency, Adirondack
Park Local Government Review Board, Adirondack Association of Towns
and Villages, NYS Department of State, NYS Department of Environmental
Conservation, and NYS Department of Economic Development.
