The free standing panel exhibits are located at Chapel Pond, Marcy
Field, and lower Cascade Lake.
At Chapel Pond, the theme of the exhibit is “Experience the
Adirondack Wilderness”. There are three panels located at
the entrance to the new parking lot at Marcy Field: “Early
Adirondack Visitors and Guides”, “Marcy Field: A Window
on the Adirondacks”, and “Discover the Eastern Adirondacks”.
The panel located at the end of lower Cascade Lake is titled “Natural
Forces that Shaped the Adirondacks”.
The Agency and its exhibit development partners at the NYS Department
of Transportation, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation,
and the Town of Keene hope you will find these new exhibits informative
and enjoyable.
