of the ice storm, forest damage, salvage operations and regrowth, followed by remarks by panelists on the effects on landowners, forest management and the future, and concluding with a question-and-answer period with Agency Members, Designees and the audience. The panel is comprised of Tony Woods of Wagner Forest Management, LTD, Potsdam, New York; Larry Denis of LandVest, Tupper Lake, New York; and Herb Boyce of Northwoods Forest Consultants, LLC, Jay, New York.

Jim Murphy, Associate Director of the Merwin Rural Services Institute at Potsdam State, will be joined by Kate Brennan, Labor Market Analyst with the NYS Department of Labor, for this presentation on socioeconomic change in the region. The presentation will rely on decennial data from the U.S. Bureau of the Census as well as annual employment security data collected by the Department of Labor.
