Monthly Agency Meetings
The Adirondack Park Agency Board takes formal action on Park policy issues, including permit applications, during monthly meetings. Monthly meetings are usually held at the Agency's headquarters in Ray Brook, NY and are open to the public. Agency meetings can also be viewed live online via WebEx. Links to the webcast can be accessed via the yellow banner posted on the homepage just before and during the meeting as well as in the meeting agenda.
Public comment is available to members of the public who attend both in-person and remotely. Those commenting in-person may sign up at the board meeting and those commenting remotely should email their name and the phone number used to call into the board meeting to AgencyMeeting.PublicComment@apa.ny.gov. Those who sign up for public comment will be limited to three minutes each. Please refer to our public comment policy for more details.

Updated Public Comment Process
The Adirondack Park Agency is expanding public access to its monthly board meetings through a new livestream platform that will allow meetings to be broadcast simultaneously on the Agency’s website and social media channels, making it easier for the public to tune in remotely.
What Stays The Same:
Members of the public who wish to provide remote public comment will continue to request speaking access by emailing agencymeeting.publiccomment@apa.ny.gov in advance of the meeting, consistent with the Agency’s existing process.
What’s Changed:
Individuals giving public comment will now join through a StreamYard virtual studio rather than a Zoom webinar.
How to provide remote public comment:
1. Email agencymeeting.publiccomment@apa.ny.gov
2. Provide your full name and any affiliation you'd like to be noted during your comment
3. Commenters will be emailed a StreamYard guest access link with further instruction on how to join. You will click the link provided, enter your name and click the button that says "Join Studio"
4. You'll be able to see and hear the livestream but you will not be seen or heard until it is your turn to speak.
5. Agency staff will announce your name and bring you live when it is your turn. You'll have three minutes to give your public comment.
6. After your public comment concludes you will be removed from the livestream but still able to see and hear the meeting.
7. If you leave the studio you can continue watching the meeting via the public link found on our YouTube page or the APA website homepage.
