Weekly APA Public Comment Periods Announcement


RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically.

At present, the following projects are available for comment at https://apa.ny.gov/Hearings/index.cfm:

• Construction of a dock and a boathouse in the Town of Queensbury, Warren County (P2024-0281).

• Replacement of a 38.5-foot utility pole with a 43-foot utility pole; replacement of a 34-foot utility pole with a 38.5-foot utility pole; installation of a new 43-foot utility pole; and removal of a 34-foot utility pole in the Town of Arietta, Hamilton County (P2025-0010).

• Construction of a new 10,000-square-foot public use structure to provide educational display areas, historian research rooms, a student educational lab, an administrative office space, and a 36-seat theater in the Town of Northampton, Fulton County (P2024-0210).

• Continued operation of an existing sand and gravel extraction in the Town of St. Armand, Essex County (P2025-0006).

The mission of the Adirondack Park Agency is to protect the public and private resources of the Adirondack Park through the exercise of the powers and duties of the Agency as provided by law.
