RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically.
At present, the following projects are available for comment at https://apa.ny.gov/Hearings/index.cfm:
• A four-lot subdivision to create vacant building lots ranging in size from 3.2±-acres to 18.9±-acres with each lot to be developed by one single-family dwelling in the Town of Franklin, Franklin County (P2024-0345).
• Repair and modification of existing marina infrastructure including the expansion of two stake docks, expansion of a boathouse roof to cover an adjacent boat slip, and reconstruction of an existing boat launch ramp in the Town of Bolton, Warren County (P2024-0303).
• Installation of four utility poles in the Town of Bolton, Warren County (P2024-0265).
• Re-construction and replacement of the Interstate 87 Northbound Exit 32 Off-ramp bridge over Spruce Mill Brook in the Town of Lewis, Essex County (P2024-0333).
• Operation of a commercial wedding venue throughout spring, summer and with an additional wedding venue parking on a portion of adjoining tax parcel in the Town of North Elba, Essex County (P2024-0207).
• Installation of a replacement on-site wastewater treatment system in the Town of Harrietstown, Franklin County (P2024-0314).
The mission of the Adirondack Park Agency is to protect the public and private resources of the Adirondack Park through the exercise of the powers and duties of the Agency as provided by law.
