Weekly APA Public Comment Periods Announcement


RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically. https://apa.ny.gov/contact/public-comment.cfm

-The action involves the construction and operation of an RV campground consisting of four sites. Each campsite will have individual water, sewer and electric hookups. The proposal is located in the Town of Warrensburg, Warren County. - A variance involving the construction of an addition to a pre-existing single family dwelling within the shoreline setback. The proposal is located in the Town of Black Brook, Clinton County. There will be a hearing on June 12, 2026 from 10 am - 11 am. - The action involves the replacement of a stone retaining wall on Osgood Pond involving a temporary installation of silt fencing within wetlands. The proposal is located in the Town of Brighton, Franklin County.

- The action involves a four-lot subdivision of a 4.6-acre parcel classified as Moderate Intensity. One lot will retain an existing commercial use building. No new land use or development is proposed. The proposal is located in the Town of Ausable, Clinton County.

- The action involves a permit and variance request for the construction of a dock to provide public ADA-accessible canoe and kayak access to Lake Flower. The proposal is located in the Village of Saranac Lake, Essex County. There will be a hearing on June 25, 2026 from 10 am - 11 am.
