Source:      APA GIS process of USGS/NYSDEC 7.5 minute 10 meter grid 
             DEM quad data.

Process:     Adirondack Park Agency staff merged eight adjacent quads 
             with center DEM quad to improve contour generation at 
             quad edge.  Ran Arcinfo LATTICECONTOUR command 
             on each merged quad with a 20 foot contour interval, a 
             zero base contour, and a weed tolerance of 1.2 meters. 
             Clipped each contour coverage with the original quad 
             boundary.  Converted to shapefile for data distribution.
