June 2025 APA Board Meeting Preliminary Agenda

RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency (APA) will hold its monthly meeting on Friday, June 13th, 2025. The meeting will be held at the Agency’s headquarters in Ray Brook, NY. The public is welcome to attend in person or remotely. 

Public comment will be available to members of the public who attend the Agency meeting in person as well as those who participate remotely. If you would like the opportunity to make a public comment remotely, please email your name and the phone number used to call into the Board Meeting to AgencyMeeting.PublicComment@apa.ny.gov. Those who sign up for public comment will be limited to three minutes each. Public comment will not be accepted on any agenda items that are before the Board.

On Friday at 9:00 a.m., the Full Agency will convene for the Executive Director’s report, public comment and other procedural actions. During this time, Chair John Lyman Ernst will be recognized for his service to the Agency, the Adirondack Park, and the State of New York. Chair Ernst will be retiring from the Agency board after the June meeting.

At 9:30 a.m., the State Land committee will hear a summary from Agency staff of public comments received on the proposed 2024-2025 Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan amendments package and a proposed final package for discussion.

At 11:30 a.m., the Enforcement committee will hear an informational presentation from Agency staff about trends in Agency enforcement cases, which will include an overview of recent enforcement data and outcomes.

At 12:00 p.m., the Regulatory Programs committee will consider a proposal for the application of the aquatic herbicide ProcellaCOR EC in Upper Chateauguay Lake to control Eurasian watermilfoil.

At 12:30 p.m., the Full Agency will convene to take any necessary actions.
