Weekly APA Public Comment Periods Announcement


RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically.

At present, the following projects are available for comment at https://apa.ny.gov/contact/public-comment.cfm:

• Construction of a 13,000±-square-foot sand/salt storage building with an overall height of 51 feet at the existing Town of Franklin Highway Department facility in the Town of Franklin, Franklin County (2025-0070).

• Installation of four 80-foot-tall stadium lights and two 60-foot-tall stadium lights at the existing Saranac Lake Central School District track and athletic facility in the Town of Harrietstown, Franklin County (2025-0050).

• Application of the aquatic herbicide ProcellaCOR EC, involving wetlands, within four treatment areas in Upper Chateaugay Lake to control Eurasian watermilfoil in the Towns of Dannemora and Ellenburg, Clinton County (2025-0078).

• Installation of a 110-foot-tall monopine tower for Hamilton County public safety radio antennas with co-locations by Verizon and by Hudson Valley Wireless, and with access to the site along an existing 1500±-foot-long logging road that will be improved in the Town of Arietta, Hamilton County (P2024-0074).

• A seven-lot subdivision of 192.5 acres to create four lots with existing development and three vacant lots for development of one single family dwelling each, within the Cedar River Recreational River Area in the Town of Indian Lake, Hamilton County (2024-0140).

• Installation of a 2.5-foot-tall by 10-foot-wide by 33-foot-long ground level deck on the rear side of an existing 51-foot-tall single-family dwelling in the Town of Elizabethtown, Essex County (P2025-0071).
