APA Announces Adjournment of Public Hearing for Howitzer Testing Application to February 4th, 2026.


RAY BROOK, NY – Administrative Law Judge David Greenwood issued an Order approving a joint request from the Adirondack Park Agency and the applicant for Project 2021-0276 to adjourn the previously scheduled December 22, 2025 session until February 4, 2026. The proposed project involves a request for a weapons range for testing the internal ballistics of 155 mm howitzer cannon barrels over a 5-year period.

The February 4th hearing session will be held at the Adirondack Park Agency Headquarters, located at 1133 State Route 86 in Ray Brook, NY. The session will begin at 10:00 A.M. The public is invited to attend in person or remotely. Remote access information will be provided in January 2026.

Petitions for party status are still requested to be received by December 19, 2025 at 12:00 P.M.
