RAY BROOK, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency is accepting public comment on projects currently under review. The public is encouraged to go online to learn more about each public comment opportunity and to submit comments electronically.
At present, the following projects are available for comment online: https://apa.ny.gov/contact/public-comment.cfm:
• Installation of a new 70-foot-tall telecommunications tower concealed as a simulated pine tree. The project is located in the town of Ticonderoga, Essex County (P2024-0271).
• Construction and operation of a 4.0 MW AC commercial solar generating facility located in the Town of Ellenburg, to include a fixed-tilt, ground-mounted array within a 19.6-acre leased area (P2025-0223).
• Creation of four-lot subdivision of 99± acres to create four residential building lots ranging in size from 20.26 to 30.95 acres in the Town of Chester. One single-family dwelling, on-site wastewater treatment system, potable water well, and driveway will be constructed on each lot (P2025-0129).
• Six-lot residential subdivision for the construction of six single family dwellings to be served by individual on-site wastewater treatment and well water supplies. The project is located in the town of Greig, Lewis County (2025-0127).
• Continued operation of an existing 4.9-acre commercial sand and gravel extraction. The project is located in the town of Clinton, Clinton County (2026-0002).
• Continued operation and greater than 25% expansion of an existing group camp. The project is located in the village of Speculator, Hamilton County (2025-0262).
• Distribution line rebuild within the State Route 149, Campney Lane, and Old State 149 right-of-ways. The project is located in the town of Fort Ann, Washington County (2026-0030).
• Construction of a single slip boathouse with a 4-foot-wide gangway involving wetlands. The project is located in the Town of Brighton, Franklin County (2025-0269).
