Saranac Lake, NY — The Adirondack Park Agency will host its 4th Annual Adirondack Planning Forum on May 6-7, 2026, at the Hotel Saranac.
The forum brings together local government officials, planning and zoning boards members, and state agency partners for two days of discussion and training on key issues facing Adirondack communities.
The agenda includes sessions on zoning updates, workforce housing, community sustainability programs and recreation-based economic development, along with practical training designed to support local decision-making.
An open reception will be held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Hotel Saranac featuring remarks from Jim McKenna and Cali Brooks on the public-private partnership to advance workforce housing in the North Country as a part of Governor Hochul's Accelerate Workforce Housing initiative.
