Aquatic Herbicides

What Is It?

Pesticides with herbicidal properties in or impacting wetlands subject to Agency permit jurisdiction. The application of herbicides also requires approval from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and the Agency’s review of the project will be done in coordination with the NYSDEC staff.

Form Submission

The Agency accepts submissions via email and mail. Emails can be sent to APASubmissions@apa.ny.gov or via the form below. Before submitting, please ensure that:

• All submissions are in PDF format and legible;
• Electronic copies of plans are fully scalable;
• Applications contain scans of signatures affixed by hand or electronic signatures consistent with the Electronic Signatures and Records Act.
