APA Web Document HELP
The APA provides documents in HTML, PDF and FlashPaper formats.
We hope the following instructions will meet all your needs. If
you need further assistance, please contact us.

Resizing/Magnifying the page
FlashPaper documents can be resized in your browser for better
viewing. Use the slider bar in the tool bar at the top of the
FlashPaper document. The current magnification is indicated as
a percent to the right of the slider tool.
Printing
At the top of the FlashPaper document is a FlashPaper tool bar.
At the right of the tool bar (second from the end) is the PRINT
icon. Click this print icon to print the FlashPaper document.
A printer dialog window will appear where you can choose to print
the whole document or selected pages and define other printing
parameters. DO NOT USE THE BROWSER PRINT TOOL. If you try to print
a FlashPaper document with the browser print tool, you will not
be able to print the document.
Searching
At the top of the FlashPaper document is a FlashPaper tool bar.
Find the MAGNIFY GLASS on this tool bar. To the left of the magnify
glass is an input box that enables you to type in a word or phrase.
Enter what you want to search for here and then press the magnify
glass. The FlashPaper document will highlight the first occurance
in green. Click the magnify glass again to find the next occurance.
You can also hit Enter instead of clicking the magnify glass.
Don't use quotes, they're entered for you automatically.
Copy/Paste
At the top of the FlashPaper document is a FlashPaper tool bar.
Find the icon that looks like a capital "I" (second
from the left.) Click the "I" tool and drag it over
the text to be copied to the system clipboard. Text is highlighted
in green. On the keyboard, PRESS CTRL-C. The text is now copied
to the clipboard. You cannot right-click the green text or use
Edit>Copy menu to copy the text. The only way to copy selected
text is to use Ctrl C on the keyboard.
Saving
On a web page that links to a FlashPaper file, right-click the
link and choose "Save" or "Save Target As..."
A dialog will appear to enter where you want to save the file
to. FlashPaper documents have a .SWF extension. These files saved
to your system can be opened in your browser.
System Requirements
FlashPaper files are displayed with Macromedia Flash. This is
a common browser plug-in used on many websites.
For complete Flash requirements, please see the Macromedia
Flash Player Requirements webpage. http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/productinfo/systemreqs/
The APA has used the same Flash format for over a year and expects
to continue with the same format.
